15-20 years ago, graphics tablets were like electronic chess boards where you could tap or write/draw on it but it didn't have a display. You still needed a monitor for output and face that instead to see what you were drawing.
Although I've not heard of anyone using a tablet (Android) as a graphics tablet, it makes sense because it has a screen and you can see directly what you're drawing!
I have the Samsung Tab S8 Ultra, and at 14.6", it's just like looking into a standard 15.0" laptop. It comes with the S-Pen like their Notes do for doodling and making notes/lists. Are there any apps out there for doing actual drawing, maybe with pressure sensitivity? I was thinking something similar to Inkscape but it would need to need to run on Android. It would also need to support vector and then export it either WMF, EMF, EPS or PSP which I can then load into Paintshop Pro on the PC.
Alternatively, have anyone tried using a tablet as an output for the PC? This is the opposite way round to running Samsung Flow on the PC, as Samsung Flow mirrors the tablet output to the PC/monitor. The other way round is to use Spacedesk to mirror the PC's output to the tablet. I could then fire up Paintshop Pro on the PC, which shows up on the tablet too and I can start drawing into that using the S-Pen. It probably won't support pressure sensitivity in this way but it's still better than using a mouse and I know the touchscreen works in Windows 11 because I have used Spacedesk on it before.
