Hi. I've got a Netgear DG834PN wireless router with built in adsl modem.

I've now just got a linksys WRT54GS (no built in modem) with DD-WRT installed (i want QoS). here's what i want to do:

setup the netgear (192.168.0.1) to connet to the internet with its modem, turn its wireless on, and set it's DHCP server off.

then get the linksys (192.168.0.2), and tell it to get internet from netgear (192.168.0.1) which will be wired to it using 100mblan. and turn the dhcp server on to start from 192.168.0.3.

would this work?? will all the ip addresses be given at the linksys and so enable me to do QoS?

It wouldn't work. You can only make the DG834PN work as an ADSL modem or wireless AP on one side of the WRT54GL, not both at once.
