Using access to update stock on website

Hi guys

Am after a bit of help am doing a website for my hnc course. It has to be linked to a database.

So am looking to do one which sells products (Not really sell them) so can I set up access to sort out stock update like the way overclockers stock updates if some one buys one.

Any ideas if this is possible.

What are you using to code the site? What other details do you have in terms of how the database will be used - interrogated, read from and updated?

Well don't bother with Access for a start, if it's a simple jobby use PhP with MySQL for sure. It'll be really really simple that way
