¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Is this possible? My ADSL wireless modem is a Phillips SNB5600 and I've got it hooked up to a Virgin cable modem.

I've put the router in "Bridge Mode", and the cable modem's IP is 192.168.100.1 and the ADSL routers ip is 192.168.100.2, and I've got DHCP turn on on the router, yet it doesn't work... :(

Is there anything I can do to get the two things to work together?

How have you got it hooked up?

If you're using it as a wireless bridge, you won't need DHCP on the router - whatever machine connects, the router should pass through DHCP requests to the modem, which'll then give the machine a public IP.

The cable modem is hooked up to the "WLAN" port on the the Phillips router.

When I turn the DHCP off on the router, none of the PC's can connect as the cable modem doesn't seem to send out an IP address. :(

The cable modem in question is a Scientific Atlanta epc2100r2, but I can not find an option to turn DHCP on or off in it's menus...

Looking at the specs, it's a cable router, not an ADSL router. You've connected it to the WAN port, right?

You shouldn't need "bridge mode" either, DHCP should be enabled, and there shouldn't be any need to change the router's IP address.

Doh! :o I assumed it was ADSL as it had things like "PPoE" (i think) in the setup screens...

Anyway, it was connected to the WAN port, but it might not have worked due to me putting it in bridge mode...

I'll set reset everything back to normal a try again, I should be round there again this weekend. :)
