using an air compressor

i have an air compressor which i'm trying to use to deflate the massive paddling pool in the garden. instructions say you can deflate, but doesnt tell you how.
on the accessory gun, is a push button next to the trigger, which i thought would deflate by pressing this whilst holding on the trigger, but this just slows the pressure down.
these are the bits all included, anyone able to say what im doing wrong?

I'm guessing that you would have to swap the hose from the compressor output to the compressor input in order to deflate.

I would guess push the button without pulling the trigger.

Yup

Otherwise you're letting air in via the trigger and out via the button:p

At least that's how it works on my compressor with it's inflator (which looks identical to that one).

Mind you that's on a car tyre, I suspect the pressure for the paddling pool is lower, and the volume of air much higher in which case it'll be very slow letting the air out via the small release on the inflater*, better to push the bit on the pools valve in a little with your finger, letting the air out via the much larger valve there.

*Which is iirc intended to allow you to adjust the pressure on tyres etc if you've gone over a bit.

Use which ever nozzle fits into the valve on the paddling pool but dont attach the gun.
This will open the one way valve in the pool and allow the air to escape naturally without the need for any compressor.
Want it to work faster... sit on the pool

The button on the side of the gun is there to allow something that has more pressure than a paddling pool escape in a controlled manner (like a car tyre), forget trying to deflate it with the gun. All it does is "let the air out", not force it out in any way.

You can use compressed air to create a vacuum, but not with the equipment above.
You would need something like a paint spraying attachment for that (if you have one)
You'd attach the nozzle to the siphon tube (the bit that picks up the paint) and then "blow" the air from the guns main nozzle to atmosphere..

i have got a paint accessory, which i tried making sense of and fiddled with the connections to get this going, but couldnt get anything to happen
any chance someone know how to use this to create the vacuum effect to deflate this bloody pool?
i left the all nozzles unplugged last night, but not much air has come out!

Unhook/ unscrew the can / pot and put a bit of hose and valve on the pipe inside. Attach this to the pool valve.

Replace the nozzle on the gold bits at the top as it looks like they are missing

Bottom thumb screw on the back of the handle needs screwing in for maximum suck.

Pretend to "spray" the garden..

If that fails.. A bloody kitchen knife down the side of the pool :D
