I couldn't find a answer on here or on the internet so I wonder if anyone here has tried it
Is it possible to have a Nvidia and AMD GPU's in the same PC?
(NOT to work in parallel!)
I.e. can you select a GPU to process a particular game.
In terms of setup, you could connect the nvidia GPU with a dvi cable and the AMD GPU with a displayport cable and set the monitor to auto-source. Whether it's possible to disable a particular GPU via software is the question/issue.
The simple way is to obviously shut down the PC and replace the GPU when required but it's way too much effort. Proudly haven't opened my PC in a year
