A friend has brought me a Eee pc and tmobile internet anywhere dongle, he wants me to install and get up and running the internet on his new shiny little laptop, little did he know that the O.S sucks ****.
Im a native windows man, never messed on with linux or osx so asus Eee os seems a fart on for nothing, my inability to locate the usb drive to execute the onboard software is very irritating to say the least, any one who can help is most welcome indeed!!!!

ok, got it up and running after a little bit of googling and it wasnt too much of a problem, suppose once you get used to a different way of doing things the os aint too bad though i wouldnt want it installed onto my pc!!!!

my impressions of the eee pc is about the same as the os, not a great fan but it does what its supposed to and if you need something small and mobile it's just the trick. i would have thought though that something that is posted as mobile and for on the move, a gsm sim slot and the relavant hardware would have been built into the unit, or is this something featured in later models?

Any way, alls well that ends well and it isnt me that has to use it so happy days!!!
