Hi, I have an LG 27MD5KA Ultrafine monitor which I'd like to use with my HP (Windows) laptop. The monitor has a thunderbolt port and the laptop only has USB-C. How can I get it working?

Many thanks

Phil

It depends which version of Thunderbolt the monitor has. If it's Thunderbolt 3 or 4 then that's essentially the same as USB C so you just need a good USB C cable. What cables came with the monitor?

Did you get this working? I thought the 27MD5KA wouldn't work with display signal over usb c, the later 27MD5KL can.
