Using Beyerdynamic DT770 250 Ohm with PS4 Pro ?

I know the controller that headsets plug into cannot power 250 Ohms but is there something compatible with the PS4 I could use to power the headphones and get audio ?

Yeah any little optical amp will work great. I'm using the smsl M3. Works great. You could get something more beefy. Any with optical in

Just curious but would hooking the PS4 via optical to an internal PC soundcard which has a headphone attached work or does it have to be external ?

Don't see why not, I used to do similar back in the day with my 360 so I could just leave the headphones plugged in the PC. If you are outputting in Dolby then the soundcard would need to be able to decode it (my old mobo could) but assume you can just output standard 2.0.
