When using two 5870 do you use one bridge or two ?

Just wonder because ive seen a lot of setups with both on. Why would you need to do that?
I did some home tests and found performnace diff was 0 however on a pair of 5870 under load 2 bridges made the temps rise by 2-3c!
quite a few ppl use 2, at higher resolutions some believe it to be more stable
how long did you test for? the second bridge blocks the air way on a stock 5870 so i assume the heat builds up inside the card after some time
Does the 5770 v1 have air ports under the bridges?
One is fine, the extra connector is for running tri fire
