using bridges in crossfire

actually just looking at other forums on the net now, its been debated quite abit. Test it yourself nothing to lose but it isnt just Aesthetics with some people, they actually believe it helps.

dont think there is a definate answer mate, seems to be preference. Wish i could be more help but ive never xfired before:( suppose using 2 wont hurt, and if it does just remove it:p

lol i wondered this as my second 5850 comes Thursday, I use same rez as you and going to just use two lol

how long did you test for? the second bridge blocks the air way on a stock 5870 so i assume the heat builds up inside the card after some time

Does the 5770 v1 have air ports under the bridges?

if he has fans on the side panel the cards will get cool air blown directly at them and stop them getting toasty
