Anyone got experience using using Cat6 for 10gb.

Iv been reading and the more i do the more conflicting information i found.
Sone say Cat6 will do 10gb up to around 35m and some say it will not work.
Iv not moved in to my new places yet but the longest run looks to be around 15m.

At the minute i don't have any equipment that is using 10gb but planning ahead and don't what to have to rip it all out in a few years and redo it.

I could just run Cat6a but its about 3x the cost, looks like i need around 120m total and some for patch cables.

I have had mixed results with CAT 6 at 30m for RJ45, but also had CAT 5e work, seems cable quality can be an issue though it could also be because I am using SFP to RJ45 converters and perhaps they are fussy.
