Hi,

I'm going to be changing to a widescreen TFT for my computer usage after being convinved by you guys. My question refers to my old samsung 181T.

I'd like to wall mount it and use it as a TV. I was thinking i'd need a digibox and plug it in? Problem would be thats SCART and I need DVI input?

Am i over simplifying this? Is it even possible at all?

You need a magic vga box. This converts the scart signal from DVD recorder etc..to to vga so you can use the Tft as a tv.

do a google....

Interesting, I too was wondering how to do this.

I note tho' that the max output res of the magic vga box is 1024x768 while the native res of the Samsung 181T (and my 19" TFT) is 1280x1024.

Is this a problem?
