Using Corsair AX750 (not AX760) modular cables with a Corsair AX1200i

As the title suggests I’d like to see if anyone has experience using one Corsair PSU’s modular cables with another Corsair PSU.

I bought an AX1200i (without cables) for a new build because it was a stupid low price and I’m wondering if I can use my Corsair AX750 cables with it. I know mismatching different brand cables is a no-no but would like to see if people have done this (using same brand cables) before with good results.

I tried using this guide https://www.corsair.com/us/en/psu-cable-compatibility but I'm still not clear on what cables are for what PSU

I wouldn't chance it, just because the AX1200i is a Flextronics unit and the AX750 is a Seasonic, so the pinouts might be different at the psu end.

You could always try asking over on Linus Tech Tips as Jonnyguru is an active member on there.
