is it suicide?
I have tried it and it seems to work *ok* with regards to importing and the features I need, anyone go against it?

As long as you can live with it as it is, and don't need to tweak anything, it works ok. However, when you start to tweak things or add new features, things get messy. It also has a number of bugs - Paypal is very hit and miss unless you install a mod made by a user (back in January!).

As for running 5000 products in it - I have only done up to about 500 so can't help you there.

I'd suggest you get what you pay for really. There's a huge list of eCommerce systems here - find the one which looks best :)

I think a few people on here use Cubecart on medium/large sites, but I can't remember who they are offhand.

If they could drop in to say a few words it will be nice :D

Yeah, I need a couple of features e.g. invisible prices unless logged in.

Online payment we don't really need.
