Hey guys,

Currently running a Super Flower Leadex Titanium 1600w power supply that I purchased many many years ago and has lasted through 3 full system upgrades (System currently a 7800x3d and rtx3090)

The power supply has been rock solid and still continues to do so but with these new power connectors for GPUs am now wondering if I have to change it just because the connectors are different? I'm looking to get either a 5080 or 5090.

Will I be able to use this power supply on these cards some how or am I being forced to replace a perfectly working power supply because of connectors?

Cheers :)

Oh ok so am i to assume i can just purchase an adapter cable to use on the new cards? im ok with that but a quick look seems to suggest Super flower adaptors are no longer available.. loads available for Corsair PSUs though.

Ill have a look but i might just buy a new PSU

Cheers mate

Cheers guys,

Thank for all the info, Ill look into the adaptors as I would rather continue using my super flower being such a solid unit that is more than cable to handle even a 5090 power requirements. Just worried I get the wrong adaptor and short something lol

What ever I chose I'm not pre-ordering the new GPUs as ill be waiting till people actually get them first, so plenty of time to think about it. good to know that I could possible still use my current PSU though .

Thanks
