Using dead H50 as GPU Block - Non Ref 460

Any idea if this would work ?

I Killed the H50 in the process of building a full WC system.

I'd like to use the H50 Plate on my Palit GTX 460 SE Non ref board and was wondering if anyone had tried this before ? - Going to pull off the lovely stock fan/sink and and check sizes. If the H50 plate is a no-goer then I may also consider building a block around the stock hs.


I'll only be running at 1 volt anyway so not an extreme oc, just want some silence

Should have made it clear - want to cannibalise the H50 and use only it's plate & flow chamber.

What's to lose, they certainly work on gpus with a bit of modding as a complete unit.

It'll be interesting to see how you go about cannibalising it though...
