Using different ISP provided router with other ISPs?

Got a Talktalk Huawei Echolife router spare and friend's internet has died. I thought about taking this and testing it over at their place to see if this works.


Would it? Their on BT ISP so woudn't know if this would work or not.

Provided you know the username and password(if reqd) then it'll work. The only one that I know of that is tricky is sky because they hide thier login info from users.
