Using EZ Flash 2 safely

Hi All

have a look at this link please and tell me ifs it still an up to date way to use EZ Flash 2.

All I ever do is download the bios, extract it to a usb stick, reboot, enter the bios select EZ-Flash and update. I have never had a flash go wrong using EZ-Flash.
