Hi Guys, I am planning on getting this (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BB-008-AE&groupid=701&catid=1428&subcat=1429) fan controller for my new desktop (i5 4670 with a K2 Mount Doom cooler) and was wondering what the pros/cons of using the fan controller to control the speed of the CPU fan.
I assume the CPU fan will speed up/slow down based on the CPU temperature? If so, will using the fan controller cause issues if the CPU heats up but the fan isn't going fast enough (because the fan controller will control the speed of it).
I apologize if this is a super n00b question, but I've used gaming laptops for the past 8 years so I am a bit rusty on desktops!
