what a lot of hassle and you're still limited to crap TV speakers. If you had a AVR all sound will come out of the speakers, and when you connect your headphones, speakers are muted headpones are active.

I appreciate that, but that's not what I want though. My PC already has speakers, and when I plug in my headphones the speakers are muted. This is fine for the Gaming PC. But I'm talking about plugging in the TV, and wanting only the audio for stuff being displayed on the TV to go to a different audio device (whether that's the TV or some better speakers for the TV).
