using hiper pci-e 6 pin modular cable on x1900xt

is it ok to use the 6 pin that comes with the hiper 580w type-r it has its own modular slot i just wanted to know if this will provide enough power for the 1900

i know but i have been getting a low 3d mark 05 score i was just checking incase it wasnt supplying enough power to it

whats the rest of your spec? Motherboard etc and whats your score on what 3Dmark?
 
Running one of them to power one of my 7800GT's in SLI, no problems at all. Low 3dmark score cannot be attributed to that power convertor at all.
