As title really. I have the desktop PC set up with i3 (not finished tweaking it yet, but its very useable out the box) and installed x2go. My laptop is seriously underpowered, so this is pretty neat.
Only thing is the desktop uses the winkey as the mod key, but so does my windows laptop. I cant do anything, mod-enter just starts narrator for example.
Anyway to change this behaviour on the laptop, let the local X session take control of the winkey, or have i3 use another key when I'm logged in remotely?
Thanks :)

Rather than trying to force a different mod key for remote sessions, why not just permanently change it to something else? You should be able to use xmodmap to do that.
