Using iCal with gmail

Hi all

Just a quick one...

I intend to start using iCal as a calendar as its already built into my phone, my imac and my mac book air.

But my boss uses gmail calendar and always sends me invites etc.

Can i Sync his invites etc into my iCal?

Also, in future if he wants to be able to see my calendar but refuses to sync his gmail to my ical then can i also set up a personal gmail calendar which mirrors the stuff i have in my ical? That way he only needs to sync his gmail to my gmail calendar.....

Right, im rather confused.

I have two email addresses, [email protected] and [email protected].

I have set up [email protected] on my iCal on both my laptop and my iphone. This allows me to have sync'd calendar across both devices.

HOWEVER, all my meeting invites from the boss come through in gmail form on my work address, [email protected].

Therefore i was forced to open a gmail calendar account which i did using [email protected].......

Now, when my boss sends me a meeting invite from his gmail calendar to my [email protected] address it gets added to my [email protected] gmail calendar right.... So its this account ([email protected]) than i need to add to iCal on all my devices right?

I have followed the steps given on the link that Karlbbb gave to add my [email protected] and its associated gmail calendar account to ical but it wont work.

It says:

ICal found the CalDAV server 'work.com' but couldnt log in with the username [email protected] and password. Check username and password and try again.

But my username and password is correct, iv tried several times.

This same laptop even gets all my [email protected] emails so its not the username and password that is the issue.

What am i doing wrong?
