If I do this - and save it onto a backup volume - can I then restore this image to my RAID 0 array without having to install windows again should I choose to change motherboard?

I'm using onboard RAID but there's a few problems with it being able to cope with having more than one recognisable hard drive, so If I change motherboard I want to just restore windows and get up and going again.

Hmm....the trouble is - I'm having this problem. I think that Asus may release an update for it soon though of course I have no idea when.

It's a totally bizarre problem and it means the only way that windows will boot is if I don't plug in my storage drives. It's also the only motherboard I can find where Asus has SATA plugs not powered by nForce (I think) but by Marvell.
