I have an Arcic Freezer III 420 and looking to change the fans to match the rest of the case to Lian Li TL140. The concern I have is that it will have to use the L-Connect 3 software to control the fan profile for the AIO rather than the plugging drectly into the CPU fan on the Motherboard.

I have not been able to find a splitter just for PWM where the ARGB part goes into the TL Controller.

Has anyone only controlled their AIO Fans by L-Connect, or have any concerns with doing this.

Thanks

I’m being an absolute noob here, must admit first time changing fans on an AIO. The Lian Li fans come with short case fans for fitting only and the screws from the arctic fans are about 3mm to long so I can’t get the fans tight.

I’ve found some nylon washers I could put between the fan and the screw head to pack them out.

Any recommendations to use something else or is this whole thing a bad idea ?

Thanks

Hi, Unfortunately. I was looking for a splitter from the 7? PIN TL fan cable to a separate PWM power connector but then continue the original cable into a Lian Li Controller minus the PWM part
Sorry but without pics that mens nothing to me. (i don't do RGB :D)

I thought the fans had a 4 pin PWM cable and a seperate ARGB cable. Think that is how the Arctic fans are anyway.
