Hi,

I have a lc-03v silverstone case. I really like the case and it fits in with my tv stand fantastically. However, the display in it connects via a 25pin parallel connection. Is there an adapter (internal or external) that will work with this display? I know that parallel to usb adapters exist, but reading around seems to imply that these only work with printers and I am unsure of other devices?

Thanks,

Matt

I take it you mean the screen that will connect the little display to the motherboard?

I thought these cases were only sold as custom builds anyway so imagine the connector would be something standard.

Could you post a pic of it?

Im guessing its probably and internal usb header connector but would need to see it to be sure.

EDIT:
just read this from their website

"SilverStone's VFD module uses parallel port connector, which supports the majority of
motherboards currently available on the market"

Just read your OP again, didnt realise you said 25pin connector, sorry my mistake.

Thanks for the response anyway. As you saif, the connector is pretty standard 25pin parallel port connector. Unfortunately most new motherboards, mine included, do not have this connector anymore. I am hoping someone has done something similar and can recommend a usb or pci device that will work with parallel devices other than printers.
