using liquid pro//reuse cpu block

hi,
i have used liquid pro on current cpu block new build coming up,
will i be able to use and clean old block as i have fittings for 2011
or do u recommend a new 1.
not sure what liquid pro does in terms of cleaning off and wont know until i rebuild and dont want to have to order a new 1 and sit and wait for delivery.

If you have a good make of cpu block and have the fittings you dont have to buy new the liquid pro should come off with a bit of effort just make sure you get all old paste off, your post wasnt clearly worded i thought for a minute there you wanted to re use your liquid ultra and you should never re use paste only ever a fresh aplication as far as paste goes.

Which cpu block do you have?

i dont mind buying a new 1 any that you would recommend

Raystorm are good make (if not a wee bit fidley to fit), you may see alittle improvement from a newer block but not enough (in my opinion) to warrant a 60 to 100 pounds (depending one which make) price tag but its your money spend it if you
