Using Mac and Windows on same router

Title pretty much says it all - looking at buying a mac but all the computers connected to the wireless router are windows based. Will the mac still be able to connect to the router and get wireless access?

The router is the Linksys WRT54G.

I understand there may be filesharing issues between the pcs and mac.

The router doesn't care what OS the machines are running. There won't be a problem, and the Mac shouldn't have any hassle getting to shares on the PC.
