Just wandering if anyone has done this because i have my mobo installed currently without a io shield because i think its bent too much (old and worn) for it to fit properly.
Im thinking some thin mesh with smaller holes rather than the large honey comb style ones.

What do you guys think?

It would be tough for it to have a good fit.

If you're doing it for practical reasons rather than cosmetic ones, have you considered writing to your mobo's manufacturer asking them to mail you a new one?

what board is it.. get me a pic of the IO and i'll see if i have a plate that matches at work.
