I am thinking about getting a Corsair 900D and putting 2 PSUs in it.

How do you get the second PSU to work as the slave. Do you use a 24 pin white connector like you get in watercooling kits or is there a better way.

I think you should be able to do it by running a wire from the green cable and one of the blacks (GND) on the PSU connected to the motherboard to the same cables on the slave. Never tried it myself though and it does sound like an accident waiting to happen

Edit: Or buy one of those above :D

I use one of these. I am not sure if you need two PSU's as your not ramming silly voltages through everything.

Im not at the moment, the most I have measured is 1032w at the wall.

When the next generation of cards launch I may want to go with single GPU cards rather than dual GPU ones.

I don't think I will ever get close to the amount of wattage you use but with 4 single graphics cards I could reach around 1500w with everything o/clocked
