Using Multiple Wireless Adaptors - Speed?

I was wondering, if I use 2 or 3 wireless adaptors on the same PC, and connect them all to the same wireless router, would I get a faster connection.

I've not tried it, but I've got two usb wireless adaptors. What if I plug them both in?

Even if you get Windows to load balance the traffic over all the adapters, you're bound by the maximum bandwidth of the connection - you'd wind up with 3 adapters getting (in theory) 18Mbps each versus 1 getting 54Mbps.
It might work if you used multiple APs on different channels (which is essentially what the 108Mbps setups do).
