When using Outlook to send multiple emails to many senders (not spam) I realise that all addresses in the To: and CC: can be seen by all that recieve the email.

But when you use BCC: If I've understood this correctly,
To: A
CC: B
BCC: 1;2;3
When this is sent A & B will recieve the email and they will both be able to see who else has recieved it also but they will not know who was entered in BCC (1,2,3).

+ What I do not know is this... will each of the addresses mentioned in BCC (1,2,3) know that each other have also been copied into it also.

+ Also those entered into BCC, will they see any addresses entered in To: or CC: when they recieve the email? Hope this makes sense

Hi Senture
Thanks for the speedy reply. What I'd ideally like to do is send the jokes I have recieved at work to my friends outside of work, but I do not want to disclose my work email address to anyone outside of work in case it ends up attracting spam and junk mail. All emails from friends in past have had multiple email addresses entered in the To: section. Is it still possible to send emails to all friends outide of work into the Bcc: without my full work email address being disclosed?
