Using PC headset with Xbox One

Hi,

I want to use my Siberia S200 headset with my Xbox one. I bought a 3.5mm splitter from Amazon, however whilst I can hear the game, people can’t hear me and the Mic is seemingly not working?

Should the cable do the job ok, or should I have bought the Xbox stereo headset adaptor?

You’ll need something with correct pole configuration, not all 3.5mm jacks carry a mic signal.

What model Xbox One do you have? The Xbox One S and Xbox One X controllers both have a single 3.5mm headphone/mic input.

Hi, sorry for late response. It is an Xbox One S controller. Looking at the cable I bought I thought it should work?

nope the one you bought only has 3 poles, do another search from the place you bought it use 'UGreen xbox' as the search terms.
