Using PC to host a wifi network

I'm currently in halls of residence at university, and we get supplied a hard wired internet connection.

Would I be able to host a wifi network for my phone and tablet using something like this on windows 7?

I'm going to continently ignore some of the rules on internet usage Its mainly just so I can browse on my tablet in bed.
