Hi all.

I don't extensively use photoshop, but something i have often wondered about is how to use it to change colours without loosing the shade detail.

It struck me today that it would be quite useful to be able to do this, because i've almost finished the kitchen but am not sure about the colour of the splash back. So can anyone explain to me how to use photoshop to add splashback colours to these photos, i'd be ever so greatful :)

the two choices are;

the oposite wall (behind where the shots were from) is yellow, and the floor is going to be grey / granite tiles). The hallway is yellow and green. The cupboard doors are cream gloss. I am thinking red would look best. Would love to hear other opinions though.

:)

When you say "splashback" do you mean a panel on the wall above the hob or do you mean a thin border around the top of the work surface on all walls?

forgive the silly question, but shouldn't you lay the tile flooring BEFORE you install the kitchen??

Won't the leg of the cabinets get in the way of a decently laying the floor??

Oh, and I'd go for red too!! :)

around all the walls, it'll come up and cover the areas around the plug sockets
