Bought some Network over mains adaptors and was wondering if it is okay to plug them into a surge protector instead of into the wall. It doesn't say anything against it on the box or on the Internet. Does anybody here know?

Thanks

Homeplugs to us commoners.

My TP-Link 411's don't work on either of my two surge extensions, bog standard extensions they will but not as well as being plugged straight into a wall socket.

Some people claim to be able to use Homeplugs over surge extensions.....

Ah, will try when I get home. Just wondered if there was any problems with it.

I used one on the end of a surge protected 4 way, worked ok but don't expect great performance if it does work. Model is TP-Link AV 200.
