Using Prime95

Hi there

First attempt at trying to overclock my pc second pc. Its a Amd 64 3500 asus a8v board and geil ram. I have followed the tutorial in the sticky and i seem to be going ok. Just running Prime 95 for the first time. How long does it take to complete? as it got to 99.52% then went to 1.84% but the at 2.65??

Prime doesnt complete, it just keeps running, some people say that when it goes past 8hrs the rig is stable and some say 24hours.

hung normally means when you are loading windows on a overclocked system and you get to the windows XP sign and it just stops and doesnt load any further (it hangs) can relate to any software really by meaning it crashes.

Are you running the torture test?

it shouldn't give you progress in percentages.
