Using Q-Flash for Bios Updates

Can anyone help with DQ6 bios issue?
Downloaded the F3 bios from Gigabyte's site and the filename is
motherboard_bios_ga-965p-dq6_f3.exe
When I copy this to a floppy and try to 'update main bios' using the Q-Flash utility (F8) in the bios, I get an error saying - 'Wrong FIle Size'
If I save the current main bios to floppy using same utility I get a file size of 1mb where the F3 file from Gigabyte if 684k. Clearly a very different size.
I wonder if the new file is for windows and I need a different file for Q-Flash
Can Anyone help?
I hope I haven't wasted a fiver on a floppy drive!

I don't even have a Gigabyte mobo and know nothing about Q-Flash but are you sure that exe isn't a self extracting zip or something? Seems odd for a BIOS file to have an executable extension.

Just a self-extracting file which when double clicked created the file 965pdq6.f3 which then loaded OK from Floppy! It also createde Flash895.exe and an Autoexec.bat file to run from DOS.
I just loaded mine using the Q-Flash utility within the BIOS and it all worked OK.
