Using Right and Left tilt on G5 for leaning around corners in games

So got my G5 and installed software.

now I'm starting to assign keys to buttons on my mouse.
when I assign the Q key to left tilt I expect to be able to lean in games.

the same goes for the E key and right tilt.

why isn't this working I have assigned each program for this
so any help would be appreciated.

I have also assigned the back button on the mouse for G key on the keyboard meaning I can throw grenades etc... it doesn't work

please help.

Adding to this thread, ive a Logitech MX610 laser mouse, and i too cannot assign the side to side scrolling function, ie on scroll button, the click left and right within games. Are we missing somethink here ???

Got it working in COD 2 and got those buttons to assign in HL 2 for something else.

tweaked but cannot get it to work in fear.

Anyone using the tilt button on the g5 succesfully in FEAR?

Ive failed to get my MX610 working with the extra buttons my mouse has, think i need a new brain !!!!
