After installing my new HD 6850 along with the latest 10.12 drivers, I can no longer use the majority of features on Rivatuner. The only options available on the first tab, where you can usually select overclocking and hardware monitoring etc., are low-level settings.

Is this a known problem with Rivatuner and all ATI cards, is this a problem with the latest drivers, and shall I try rolling back to 10.10?

Thanks for the help.

Rivatuner hasn't been updated for sometime. It does not work with the 5 series cards onwards. There was supposed to be a new release last year but it keeps getting pushed back. I wouldn't hold your breath on it ever seeing the light of day.

I already have that version of MSI Afterburner, actually.

The main reason I want to use Rivatuner is because the HW monitoring tool has the ability to monitor CPU usage, as well as GPU usage.

I too would like to use the hardware monitoring facilities of Rivatuner as I cant get Everest ultimate edition to work and that and Rivatuner are the only 2 monitoring softwares that my Alphacool LCD have plugins for.

Rivatuner not compatiable with any card from 5000 series onwards. A lot of us want to use rivatuner but its not going to happen and as the programmer of rivatuner has joined MSI to produce MSI Afterburner I dont see an update any time soon.
