Hey guys,

An easy one for you Im sure. I got halfway through speccing a PC last night and got tired and went to bed. I got up this am, logged back into the OCUK shop and the basket of my choices was empty.

Is this normal? There are some companies (particularly famous for selling books) that you cant get them to ever forget anything you bought. Ever. Log in a month later and the last thing you put in the basket is still there.

Any advice on how to not loose contents of basket after foolishly deciding to get some sleep?

Did you clear you browser cookies? The basket will remain the same as long as you have the cookie, unless the website sets cookies to expire in a certain amount of time.
 
as far as i know ocuk remember its for a bit of time, dunno what length that is but id say atleast a week. I wouldnt know after then because i formatted my pc :p
 
good point on the cookies....

let me check what I have my firefox set to do with those.

Ironically, I am literaly eating a cookie as i type this. 9:43 and eating cookies. life is good.
 
it was the cookies settings in firefox.

my next problem is getting the website to actually remember my personal info despite typing it in, clicking update and then getting a message saying its been updated successfully.

However I will perhaps contact OCUK about that one before I purchase
