Hi guys,
When I buy an LCD monitor soon, which will likely have a HDMI interface on it, is the way to watch a Blu-ray movie on my PC in full 1080p, to connect via HDMI to the gfx card? or does it play just the same via the DVI cable if that was used instead?
When just gaming normally, is it an option to just have the monitor connected to the PC via HDMI as opposed to using the DVI cable? Are both equally viable, or is one better than the other for gaming?
