Using this cable with HX520W?

Hi.

Is it possible to use this on my HX520W PSU.

I'll be using it to power the HD7970, just want to double check as a friend gave me this cable and it might save me a tenner if it does work.

I know it says only use for certain PSU on the cable, but in reality would it be safe to use on the HX520W?

Problem is you cant guarantee that the connection at the psu end "pinout" is the same across models of PSUs.

The GFX card end is always the same.

I can't imagine they printed '750/860A ONLY' for a laugh. I wouldn't risk using it.

Sorry but those cables are not going to work with your HX520 PSU. Both AX760/A860 and HX520 are sourced from Seasonic, but the pin layout is different between those 2 platforms.
