I've never used a wireless access point before, so just wondering if the following would be possible?

I have 2 devices I want to join onto my wireless network, but they are only wired devices. I notice the 'TL-WA901ND' has 1 LAN port. Would it be possible to connect a 4 port gigabit switch to the LAN port of the TL-WA901ND, and have upto 4 devices on the switch join the wireless network through the TL-WA901ND?

yes it would work assuming the wa901nd can work as a bridge

I have a similar set up. I have 2 pc's and a couple of tv's plugged into an 8 way gigabit switch which also plugs into a zyxel wap3205 v2 (you would use the tp link) which has 2 10/100 lan ports, the second port on this links into my nas in my case.

If you can get away with a 10/100 switch the zyxel I mentioned might be worth a look as you don't need to buy the gigabit switch and can save some money. The zyxel can be had for £30-35 and I've had no issues with it

Thanks very much buddy! That's pretty much the same setup I'm going for, and will be using a NAS too.

I think I read that it does work as a bridge, but thanks for letting me know which AP you're using as well, I'll check that out :3

Thanks!
