I want to continue using my MX1000 mainly becuase it comes with my wireless keyboard (MX3100 set) and its comfy for lazing about on the net. However I want to get a razer mouse and use that for my gaming as the MX1000 isn't as good as the razer mice i've used. Will the razer have trouble with the logitech software? Will i have to skip installing the razer drivers and use the windows default?

it should work fine, in the past I've had an old ms wireless mouse plugged in my laptop(adjusting *** tv channels) & the wired one in aswell for when I'm up closer

im using two atm, both are broken but do eachothers jobs. Stupid Kone and copperhead mix.

*mumbles*

not using drivers for the razer and its fine :)

i mix a wireless logitech with a razer. i didnt bother to install any of the drivers (lol) but it works fine

As far as I am aware the Razer software just allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the mouse on-the-fly. I have been using my Razer without the software for over a year now in all sorts of games and have suffered no ill-effects.

I'm currently using a G5 with an MX Revolution here with no problems, although you'd expect that with the same manufacturer.
