Hey guys, first time venturing in here as my cooking ability barely extends past reading the instructions on things and leaving in the oven until nicely burned. But due to a slight mistake on everyone going on holiday except me, and forgetting to leave a note for the milkman to say we only need, I have found myself in the posession of 4 pints of milk more than I would normally use.

So, besides spending the next few days only drinking milkshakes and eating pancakes, what can you recommend me cooking that'll help use up all this milk?

If you really get desperate you can freeze it (but not in the glass bottles).

Johnny69 showed us how to make yogurt, then there is always white sauce and all it's variations.

Or you could always make cheese.

Ooh, freezing it would probably be the easiest thing. How much does it expand? Its not in glass bottles, its the same supermarket style plastic ones, two x 2pint ones. But is there enough air in them to stop the milk expanding too much and cracking the plastic?
