Hi guys. Would it be alright to use water from a dehumidifier to flush and leak test some watercooling gear outside of a case for a day or so?

I would have 'proper' watercooling fluid if and when it gets fitted in my PC, but this stuff has been sitting around for yonks so I need to flush/test it before I can decide for certain if I want to re-use it all.

There are conflicting opinions on the net, some people saying "yeah its the same as distilled, I use it all the time" and others saying "it is not pure enough, it still has impurities taken out of the air" etcetera.

The de-humidifier is in the garage, various oils and chemicals are used in there quite a lot as well as lubricant and such from pressurised cans etcetera. So i'm not sure if it's a good idea.

Alternatively, would this stuff be OK? http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/..._productId_165335_langId_-1_categoryId_255205

I'd avoid, if there is a chance its been exposed to oils and chemicals it may damage any rubber seals in the loop.

Nip to Asda/Tesco/etc... buy 2.5L jug of carplan for a few quid?
