using web based mail as the default client

guys when i click on a email address it loads up outlook, which i don't use for my email, is there anyway of pointing it to my web based gmail?

You can set it to load to Windows Live Hotmail, i'm not sure about Gmail though. You can setup Gmail to work with Windows Mail (OE), Windows Live Mail or Microsoft Outlook.

yeah i seem to have that option ticked in the link, but it still fires up outlook, does this on my work pc too.. :confused:

yeah gmail notifier works

i wish the firefox gmail notifier addon could do it too, many other gmail addons add this function, i'll email the author to request it

i see maybe that's my problem i use firefox! so that's proberly why it fires up outlook!

The GTalk client can also set your mailto: to Gmail.
