UT2k4 & the ESC key?

At times it works & others not, like if I start the game it goes through the intro, I can't skip it by hitting ESC. When the menu comes up, it works, I hit it & it asks me if I wonna quit game, but when I join a server, it doesn't work & if I want to quit game, I have to bring down console to type quit.

Long time ut2k4 player here, can't say I've ever had that issue...not sure what to suggest other than reinstall the game.

It is a recent install 3ish days old. Hey do you play Ballistic Weapons lots of fun? Sadly servers are not many. If you want to try, I can give you the server I play on. Just PM me, you tube has some vids.

just delete the intro from the game folder.

I got a crash saying "visual basic runtime error" after installing the mod :confused:

Just join the server, it might work, for some strange reason mine worked with the mut. Didn't even install the mut. Since UT2k4 deosn'tt like my ESC key, how do I get the scoreboard to show?

Server's down now, don't think it downloaded everything either.

Scoreboard is F1 key.

Got back on last night, not the best choice of map and I'm not used to the Quake 3-style movement speed

So it is working, cool. Some great weapons huh? There are some stupid maps, my fav. map is blackhawk. I wish they would make that mut for UT3. I am on the runestorm forum also as Deathstorm, Dr. Who angel head as avatar.

Well Q3 doesn't have urban maps cluttered with vehicles etc, very annoying when you get stuck on map objects while trying to shoot and scoot.
